Job Description

Job Title: Release Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team at Career Moves. As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance of products with game release and update requirements, while designing, implementing, and maintaining release pipelines and processes for multi-platform game projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Release Process Management: Ensure compliance of products with game release and update requirements, while designing, implementing, and maintaining release pipelines and processes for multi-platform game projects.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration and communication among teams to ensure compliance and successful release, collaborating with cross-functional teams to effectively plan release schedules and milestones.
  • Release Process Oversight: Advocate for validation of compliance and compatibility requirements throughout development, overseeing the end-to-end release process, from build preparation and testing to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
  • Centralized Service Management: Manage a centralized service for monitoring game and content readiness status, risks, and mitigation strategies, coordinating with development and QA teams to ensure builds are properly prepared, tested, and validated for release readiness.
  • Platform Integration and Certification: Establish clear purposes for each delivered build, overseeing the integration and certification process for releasing games on various platforms (Quest, Playstation, Steam).

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years in video game development, preferably in a Release Management/Live Ops role.
  • Familiar with Platform submission requirements with an emphasis on Steam and Playstation.
  • Preferred experience working with XFN stakeholders in a high pace environment.
