Job Summary:

Lancesoft Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Release Manager to join our team. As a key member of our game development process, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth release of our games across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Release Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain release pipelines and processes for multi-platform game projects, ensuring compliance with game release and update requirements.
  • Compliance and Compatibility: Advocate for validation of compliance and compatibility requirements throughout development, overseeing the end-to-end release process from build preparation and testing to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
  • Centralized Service Management: Manage a centralized service for monitoring game and content readiness status, risks, and mitigation strategies, coordinating with development and QA teams to ensure builds are properly prepared, tested, and validated for release readiness.
  • Platform Integration and Certification: Establish clear purposes for each delivered build, overseeing the integration and certification process for releasing games on various platforms (PlayStation, etc.).
  • Platform Support and Release Management: Serve as the point of contact for platform support and release management.
  • DLC Content Planning: Plan and prepare DLC content for release across all platforms, coordinating with Production, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure content and store assets are delivered in a timely manner and product pricing is accurate.
  • Risk Analysis and Submission Strategies: Conduct risk analyses to make recommendations on submission strategies.
  • Digital Content Delivery: Ensure that all required data for digital content online are correctly received (promotional graphics, content, video, or text showcasing our product in the online store).
  • Digital Content Offers and Releases: Plan and coordinate digital content offers and releases in collaboration with PMM/Production.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-5 years in video game development, preferably in a Release Management/Live Ops role.
  • Platform Knowledge: Familiar with platform submission requirements, with an emphasis on Steam and PlayStation.
  • Collaboration: Preferred experience working with XFN stakeholders in a high-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and communication skills.
