Bridging Finance Case Coordinator

About the Position:

This role presents an excellent opportunity within a newly formed boutique bridging finance institution, backed by a reputable real estate group. We are in search of an energetic professional to provide extensive support across various operational areas within the organization. The successful candidate will recognize that Credit, Risk, Sales, and Support are essential components of this engaging position.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head of Lending Operations in overseeing bridging and development finance applications from initiation to completion.
  • Act as the main point of contact for borrowers, brokers, third-party professionals, and internal teams throughout the application journey.
  • Liaise with valuers to ensure timely property valuations and address any arising issues.
  • Collaborate with project monitors to ensure prompt completion of monitoring reports and resolution of concerns.
  • Work alongside the credit risk team to assess and mitigate lending risks through comprehensive due diligence on applicants and properties.
  • Support in the preparation of Credit Papers and essential documentation.
  • Coordinate with solicitors and third-party providers regarding the legal facets of loan transactions.
  • Track and advance live applications, ensuring timely collection and evaluation of all necessary documentation.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on the status of applications, addressing any concerns swiftly.
  • Assist in managing and nurturing key broker relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Contribute to the presentation of future fundraising strategies to leadership.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a comparable role within the financial services sector, particularly in bridging or Property Finance Lending.
  • In-depth understanding of property finance and lending procedures, including valuation techniques, credit risk assessment, and legal considerations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
