Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at nGenium. As a key member of our medical engineering recruitment team, you will be responsible for handling on-site maintenance, repairs, and asset management of medical devices at various hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues to ensure exceptional customer service and meet contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage administrative tasks related to maintenance and repairs, including documentation and inventory management.
  • Travel to various sites for maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards within the healthcare industry.
  • Maintain accurate service records and manage spare parts inventory.
  • Work closely with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service personnel when required.
Requirements:
  • Essential qualifications include certified OEM training, a degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Biomedical Technology.
  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high integrity are also required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in medical equipment maintenance in the UK, with knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • A full UK driving license is mandatory.
