Job Overview

**CBSbutler** is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in the Space Imaging department. As a key member of our Business Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality custom image sensors, Front End electronics, and Optical Systems to our external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and advise on product assurance and compliance to requirement aspects of new projects, products, and plans.
  • Underpin the design, test, and manufacturing readiness reviews within the project lifecycle.
  • Reinforce the assembly, verification, validation, and test phases of the project.
  • Flow down quality requirements to the customer and supply chain.
  • Facilitate customer-mandated reviews.
  • Support a program of risk-based internal and external audits.
  • Administer the co-authorisation and closure of permits, concessions, and NRBs.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a Product/Quality Assurance role, preferably within the space, aerospace, or defence industries.
  • A background in design and production for electro-mechanical parts and systems (with assemblies, electronics, and software experience as an advantage).
  • Knowledge of high-reliability parts and materials.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to think creatively.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach.
