Data Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role
The East of England Ambulance Service is seeking a skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. As a Data Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the Trust's data systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve data quality issues in key Trust information systems, the Data Warehouse, and Data Lake.
- Extract, collate, and interpret information from multiple Trust systems.
- Develop and implement data quality rules and reporting using data quality software tools.
- Work with Asset Owners to resolve system-related data quality issues affecting Trust reporting.
- Collaborate with Operational teams to create and refine processes to reduce input of incorrect data and user errors.
- Develop and deliver training in data quality processes and systems.
About the Team
The Data Quality Assurance team is a small, collaborative team that interacts with multiple teams across the Trust. As a Data Quality Assurance Specialist, you will work closely with the Data Quality Assurance Manager and other team members to achieve the shared goal of improving data quality.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Computing and IT or Technology discipline or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Demonstrable experience in a role involving specialist knowledge of at least one Trust system.
- In-depth understanding of the National Standards, Policies, and Procedures governing the Organisation.
- Advanced data extraction skills, including SQL.
- Power BI qualification or evidence of advanced use in previous job roles.
