Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary
:We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at MassHire Lowell Career Center. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing all types of inspections to support various phases of assembly and manufacturing. This role requires a thorough knowledge of blueprint readings/interpretation, math, and instrument reading, as well as a complete understanding of wiring diagrams. You must be able to use basic measuring equipment and instruments to check continuity in various assemblies/components, including basic personal computing literacy. Additionally, you will be required to know and fully understand the workmanship acceptance criteria used on the production floor. You must have a thorough knowledge of all paperwork/documentation associated with inspection functions and be able to properly document errors or discrepancies found. You will also be responsible for maintaining a neat and orderly work/inspection area and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 10 hours per day (6:00AM-4:30PM)
Requirements:
• Microscope visual inspection
• 3 years inspection experience
• ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) training / awareness
• High School diploma / GED
• Secret clearance required
• Use of inspection hand tools
• Ability to follow work instructions
