Role Summary:

Myfm Ltd is looking for a skilled Technical Compliance Manager to oversee compliance at our facilities, primarily through the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) provider. This role involves conducting both scheduled and unscheduled audits, inspections, and collaborative meetings to ensure adherence to compliance standards. The Technical Compliance Manager will work closely with the client and play a vital role in the Facilities Management (FM) team, focusing on strategies to enhance and sustain compliance across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a thorough FM audit strategy, collaborating with FM colleagues.
  • Evaluate and enhance the IFM provider's audit processes, including technical assessments and action plans for improvement.
  • Lead the Quality & Compliance forum from a technical standpoint for the client.
  • Identify and promote initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Prioritize value addition through quality assurance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and implement risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning related to FM operations.
  • Oversee the monitoring and communication of FM contract performance.
  • Assist in integrating a comprehensive maintenance strategy in the second year of the FM contract.
  • Provide monthly performance reports and analysis for the FM team and IFM provider.
  • Create an asset lifecycle management plan, incorporating business risks and financial considerations.
  • Ensure statutory compliance monitoring and proactive planning.
  • Support Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) compliance through consultation, training, and awareness initiatives.
  • Manage asset identification, verification, and tagging processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Technical FM Manager role, encompassing both hard and soft services.
  • Relevant safety certifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are essential.
  • Experience in compliance management within regulated environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems, along with relevant qualifications.
  • Preferred qualifications include BESA/WIFM or equivalent technical industry certifications.
  • Experience with Quality (ISO) standards and auditing processes.
  • Background in regulated environments, particularly in laboratories and chemical production.
  • Proven experience in senior client and supply chain management.

Location: On-site

Salary: £52,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on experience
