Role Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Technical Compliance Manager to oversee compliance at our facilities, primarily through collaboration with our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) provider. This role involves conducting both scheduled and unscheduled audits, as well as inspections and data collection. The Technical Compliance Manager will work closely with the client and play a vital role in the client FM Team, focusing on strategies to enhance and sustain compliance across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a thorough FM audit strategy, executed directly and in partnership with FM colleagues.
  • Evaluate and enhance the IFM provider's audit processes, including technical assessments and action plans for improvement.
  • Lead the Quality & Compliance forum from a technical standpoint on behalf of the client.
  • Identify and promote initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Concentrate on delivering added value through quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and manage risk mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to business continuity planning within the scope of FM operations.
  • Oversee and support the delivery of FM contract obligations.
  • Assist in the integration of a comprehensive maintenance strategy in the second year of the FM contract.
  • Provide monthly performance reports and analyses for the client FM Team and IFM provider.
  • Create an asset lifecycle management plan that includes business risks and financial metrics.
  • Monitor statutory compliance and ensure proactive planning.
  • Support Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) compliance through consultation, training, and awareness initiatives.
  • Manage asset identification, verification, and tagging processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Technical FM Manager role, covering both hard and soft services.
  • Possession of safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH is essential.
  • Experience in compliance management within regulated sectors is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems and relevant qualifications are advantageous.
  • Preferred qualifications include BESA/WIFM or equivalent technical industry certifications.
  • Experience with Quality (ISO) standards and auditing processes.
  • Background in regulated environments, particularly in laboratories and chemical production, is desirable.
  • Experience in senior client and supply chain management is essential.

Location: On-site

Employment Type: Permanent, with an initial probation period review.
