Role Summary:

We are in search of a seasoned Technical Compliance Manager responsible for overseeing site adherence to compliance standards, primarily facilitated by the current Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) provider. This role involves conducting both scheduled and unscheduled audits, inspections, and information collection to ensure compliance is maintained. The Technical Compliance Manager will work closely with the client, playing a vital role in the client FM Team to develop and enhance compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a thorough FM audit program, both directly and in collaboration with FM colleagues.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to the IFM provider's audit program, including technical audits and improvement measures.
  • Lead the Quality & Compliance forum from a technical standpoint on behalf of the client.
  • Identify and promote initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Concentrate on delivering added value through quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and manage risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate business continuity planning within the scope of FM activities.
  • Oversee and support the fulfillment of FM contract obligations.
  • Assist in the introduction of a comprehensive maintenance strategy for the FM contract.
  • Provide monthly performance reports and analyses for the client FM Team and IFM provider.
  • Create an asset lifecycle plan that includes business risk assessments and financial metrics.
  • Monitor statutory compliance and engage in forward planning.
  • Support Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) compliance through consultation, awareness, and training.
  • Manage asset identification, verification, and tagging processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Technical FM Manager role (hard and/or soft services).
  • Possession of safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) is essential.
  • Experience in compliance management within regulated environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems, with relevant qualifications being advantageous.
  • Preferred qualifications include BESA/WIFM or equivalent technical industry certifications.
  • Experience with Quality (ISO) standards and auditing processes.
  • Background in regulated environments, particularly in laboratories and chemical production.
  • Experience in senior client and supply chain management.

Location: On-site

Employment Type: Permanent with an initial probationary review period.
