Be part of the QinetiQ journey, a world centre of excellence in research and development, acting as a catalyst for fast-track innovation. You'll be involved in a range of exciting projects across electromagnetic research and design for both civil and military applications.

In this role, you'll act as a high-level technical expert in your field, with opportunities to develop business and academic acumen with various internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you'll:

  • Support research and development, applying theory to new electromagnetic materials.
  • Carry out computer modelling services for civilian and military applications.

This role is full-time, 37-hours per week, based at our Farnborough site with flexible, hybrid, and working from home options.

Experience of the Electromagnetic Scientist:

  • Relevant technical background associated with electromagnetics and STEM subjects (ideally physics and mathematics).

Qualifications for the Electromagnetic Scientist:

  • Relevant experience through a PhD or degree.
