Job Summary

The University of Hull is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Academic Services Directorate as a Scheduling Officer. This exciting role will contribute to the student experience and play a crucial part in shaping the teaching timetable for the University.

About the Role

As a Scheduling Officer, you will be responsible for managing a range of competing needs and delivering results that benefit the community. You will work collaboratively within the scheduling team and build relationships with colleagues across the University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling data
  • Develop and implement efficient scheduling processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with academic departments to ensure accurate and timely scheduling
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to students and staff
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of key activities for the University community

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A track record of delivering high-quality administration services in a customer-focused and data-driven environment
  • Experience of working with bespoke and off-the-shelf computer systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
