Job Title: Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our prestigious client in the Engineering sector based in Hinckley.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support in the office
  • Assist the Senior Office Administrator with the day-to-day running of the office
  • Manage work diary and answer phone calls
  • Travel arrangements – book flights, ferries, taxis, and apply for visas
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies
  • Process sales orders and manage stock control using Sage 1000
  • Liaise with transport companies and arrange imports/exports
  • Deal with customer enquiries and respond to queries
  • Frank post and purchase orders
  • Manage credit card transactions and maintain stationery levels
  • Order PPE and send out literature and mail
Requirements:
  • Professional, punctual, methodical, and organized
  • Flexible, good at juggling tasks, and prioritizing
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  • High level of English spelling and grammar and numeracy
  • Able to plan own work, show initiative, and meet deadlines
  • Tactful, show discretion, and respect confidentiality
  • Presentable appearance and polite, confident, and helpful attitude
Desirable Experience:
  • Previous administration experience within an office environment
  • Shorthand skills would be desirable
