Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Fostering Services team to identify, plan, and deliver marketing campaigns to increase awareness and recruitment of carers.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to meet business objectives, including improved perceptions, increased awareness, and increased number of carers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure corporate standards are maintained in all marketing and promotional activities.
  • Assist in the development of detailed, costed marketing plans and strategies for each campaign or activity.
  • Manage budgets associated with campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing Lead.
  • Work with the Marketing Lead and team to develop and deliver marketing and communications activities.
  • Contribute to research, analysis of data, and writing and production of marketing materials, including publications, newsletters, leaflets, and profiles.
  • Commission print and design services and other marketing campaign materials through internal and external suppliers.
  • Plan, organize, execute, and attend events to promote the Fostering Services department.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of marketing requirements and techniques for local authorities and their operational services, specifically in relation to fostering.
  • Able to assist on the preparation and deployment of marketing campaigns and recommend the most appropriate marketing mix in each case.
  • Able to produce detailed briefs for the design and production of marketing campaign materials.
  • Able to understand complex numerical and other data and make recommendations on the appropriate marketing response.
  • Able to be creative and innovative in identifying and instigating opportunities for the development of the Fostering Services department and performance through marketing techniques.
