We are looking for a Junior Social Media Manager, to work within our rapidly growing Digital & Creative team, driving results for a variety of clients, including motorsports. In this role, you will report to the Digital and Brand Lead and work on several social media client accounts alongside our fast-growing team. You will assist with the day-to-day running of both our company and client social media accounts and collaborate with our social team to deliver the best results to our clients.

This role is a perfect fit for an ambitious individual and creative thinker with great organisational skills. The role provides a perfect blend of experience across both established and modern sports properties, and the opportunity to develop skills within social media management.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Social media content ideation for multiple client accounts (Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Publishing and scheduling social media content for multiple client accounts
  • Community management and engagement
  • Consistent awareness of social media trends and platform updates
  • Contribution to content calendar creation
  • Analyse and report on social media performance metrics
  • Maintaining brand style and values in content
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a positive and professional manner
  • Opportunity for light content creation on event, filming, and basic editing

Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • 1-2 years social media experience in a coordinator or executive role, ideally in an agency setting
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with all social media channels (Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, working with multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Very strong awareness of global and in-market social media trends
  • Can confidently work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously
  • Superior time management skills, including prioritising, scheduling, and adapting as necessary
  • Keen interest and understanding of Formula 1 and other motorsport series
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the media landscape
  • Maintain excellent English language and writing skills
  • Must be willing to work on weekends according to the motorsport calendar (time is given in lieu for each weekend day worked)
  • Must be willing to travel according to client needs and annual calendar of sporting events
  • Must be a team player and have the confidence to contribute ideas

Desirable

  • Experience of working on sporting events with content production and coordination on-event
  • Experience building and maintaining professional relationships with talent and other major stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
  • Experience using social media analytics software, e.g. Brandwatch
  • Experience and understanding of the business side of global sports properties (sponsorship, broadcast, OTT, etc.)
