Key Responsibilities:- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives, depending on their age and needs.
- Maintain a homely and friendly culture within the residential home, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being among residents.
- Deal with challenging behaviours in a safe and supportive manner, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of all residents.
- Protect young people from risks to their health and welfare, promoting a safe and secure environment.
- Provide support and guidance to residents, promoting their independence and well-being, and ensuring they receive the care and support they need.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Experience working with young people, preferably in a residential care setting, is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to commute to Ely, Cambridgeshire, and possess a full UK manual driver's licence.
- Over 21 years of age.
