About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our customers, helping them to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a support service to customers, including assisting with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.
  • Work with customers to maintain a safe environment, including reporting any repairs or health and safety concerns.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a housing management service, including income collection and providing customers with tenancy-related support.
  • Assist in the promotion of customer involvement and consultation.
  • Participate in team meetings, attend regular supervisions, and reflecting practice sessions.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable client groups.
  • Experience of delivering structured support in either housing or social care.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support.
