Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our Hull Branch team at Meridian Business Support. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital role in supporting inward stock deliveries, picking and packing products, and ensuring accuracy on each order.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stock Management: Assist in receiving and processing stock deliveries, ensuring accurate and efficient storage and retrieval of products.
  • Picking and Packing: Select and package products for customer orders, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service on the trade counter, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Delivery Support: Assist with making deliveries to customers in our van, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
Requirements:
  • Valid UK Driver's License: Hold a valid, in-date full UK driver's license with no more than 3 points.
  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working in a multi-product warehouse environment, ideally with a focus on customer service and stock management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
