About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Assistant, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our supported housing services, providing support and guidance to our customers to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of personalized support and move-on plans for our customers
  • Support customers with day-to-day tasks, including tenancy-related matters and budgeting
  • Work with customers to maintain a safe environment, including reporting any repairs or health and safety concerns
  • Resolve difficult and challenging situations in a sensitive and informed way, balancing the needs of the individual with the safety of the service
  • Contribute to the delivery of a housing management service, including income collection and providing customers with tenancy-related support

About You

We are looking for someone with experience of working with vulnerable client groups, delivering structured support in housing or social care, and IT skills to include Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn specific IT systems used within Care and Support. You will be required to work flexible hours to meet customer and business needs, which may not include normal office hours.
