Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our premium bar concept in Brentwood. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality, managing kitchen operations, and supporting the Head Chef in achieving our company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, meeting our company's quality and safety guidelines.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen stock control, ordering, deliveries, and stock taking, minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
  • Team Development: Train and develop the kitchen team, providing coaching and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
  • Support to Head Chef: Assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen, deputizing in their absence as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a busy kitchen environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A passion for quality and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all aspects of kitchen operations.
