About the Role

As our Activity Lead, you will be responsible for managing the activities team, completing supervisions and appraisals, and ensuring the daily activity schedules are followed. You will also help plan and organize a variety of activities for our residents to create a fun and interesting environment for them.

You will offer comfort and company on a one-to-one basis for any residents unable to undertake the activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the activities team to deliver high-quality care and entertainment for residents
  • Complete supervisions and appraisals to ensure team members are meeting expectations
  • Ensure daily activity schedules are followed and adapted to meet resident needs
  • Help plan and organize activities to create a fun and engaging environment for residents
  • Offer one-to-one support and companionship for residents who require it
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in activity-based roles
  • Ability to be alert and attentive to residents' physical and mental well-being at all times
  • Organizational skills to plan and coordinate activities
  • Understanding of and commitment to implementing the Care Home's Health and Safety policy and Emergency procedures
