Job Title: Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Facilities Coordinator to join our dynamic team at RS Marine Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments across our multiple sites. You will also be responsible for managing facilities and ensuring that all sites meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health and Safety:
    • Review and approve health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations
    • Investigate and follow up on accidents, incidents, and near misses
    • Provide health and safety information, instruction, and training to employees
  • Facilities Management:
    • Oversee facilities management across all sites
    • Conduct regular meter readings and manage utilities
    • Ensure all sites meet health and safety standards
    • Coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep facilities in optimal condition
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Support HR in training programs
    • Manage contracts with external service providers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a related industry in a health and safety role
  • Understanding of the marine industry
  • Experience of maintaining a safe working place
