About the Role

Hays Construction and Property is seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop recommendations for prevention.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents and near misses.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health and safety.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably in the construction or property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
