Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estates and Facilities Administrator to join our team at South Hampshire College Group. As an Estates and Facilities Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Estates Department in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Estates and Facilities Manager in administering Health and Safety policies, procedures, and codes of practice.
  • Monitor compliance with legal requirements and College policy in respect of Health and Safety.
  • Administer and support with Purchase orders and associated financial procurement within the Estates and Facilities departments.
  • Provide administrative support to the Estates and Facilities team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in an administrative role, preferably in an education or facilities management environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • IOSH Managing safely certification or willingness to work towards.
  • 4 x grade C or equivalent GCSEs, including Maths and English.
  • Fork lift licence or willingness to train.
