UEL Clinical Support Associate - Estates and Facilities

The UEL Clinical Support Associate will be an integral part of the UHS Estates Ltd (UEL) team, responsible for providing clinical support services to the estates and facilities department. This role will involve managing theatre equipment, instruments, consumables, and the building, requiring independent work, effective time management, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain theatre equipment, instruments, and consumables to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the larger theatre team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Utilize clinical experience to drive product choices and negotiate for best prices where appropriate.
  • Work proactively and independently, making difficult decisions when necessary, and acting with a high standard of professionalism at all times.
  • Be willing to assist others with their workload, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively and think on your feet in a dynamic environment, ensuring calm and efficient decision-making.
  • Be organized and maintain a tidy workspace, minimizing unnecessary clutter.
  • Be motivated to execute change in challenging circumstances, adapting to new situations and priorities.
  • Treat colleagues with professionalism and respect, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Work effectively both as part of a team and as an individual, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Working Arrangements:

The standard shift pattern is 0800 - 1600 Monday-Friday, with opportunities for flexible working arrangements to be discussed and agreed upon.
