ROLE SIGNIFICANCE

In the modern automotive landscape, the significance of In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems cannot be overstated. The development of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI) for these systems plays a crucial role in shaping the user experience we offer.

To enhance our efficiency and refine our development methodologies, we are evolving our approach to the design and implementation of IVI HMI. By internalizing more responsibilities related to HMI design and development, we aim to improve software quality, decrease iteration times, and minimize potential issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in the development of HMI software for advanced Instrument Cluster and Heads-up display solutions within a collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and system engineers to produce high-quality software products utilizing a comprehensive build pipeline.
  • Ensure code integrity by addressing bugs, performing code reviews, and implementing automated testing and documentation practices.
  • Work alongside team members to enhance existing development and testing strategies.
  • Coordinate with Software Testers to guarantee the seamless functionality and presentation of each application.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a 3D developer using tools such as Unity or Godot, supported by a strong portfolio.
  • Expertise in managing game assets, including meshes, animations, materials, and shaders.
  • Experience in profiling and optimizing performance on both GPU and CPU levels.
  • Ability to rapidly create and iterate prototypes that demonstrate innovative designs and interaction patterns.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git, essential programming tools and paradigms, and a solid understanding of common design patterns.
