Launch Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Launch Engineer to join our team at TestYantra Software Solutions. As a key member of our Body Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering launch targets for Interior and Doors trim, and leading the wider Body engineering team in all elements of the build delivery to ensure a flawless launch.
Key Responsibilities:- Launch Target Delivery: Ensure Interior trims deliver on commitments and all launch metrics are in line with the vehicle Launch Quality Operating System.
- Team Leadership: Lead the Body engineering team in all elements of the build delivery, including problem resolution via Automated Issues Management Systems and Problem & Countermeasure process.
- Change Management: Coordinate change management activities for Body interior Exterior parts and software in support of Launch objectives.
- Post-Build Activities: Work on the delivery of all post-build reworks & quality validation activities to achieve customer delivery dates & quality standards.
- Launch Review Meetings: Attend launch review meetings and prepare management information for the presentation of status reports where necessary.
- Alerts and Containment: Coordinate and support raising and implementing Alerts, rework instructions, and containment actions for any Body component, vehicle reworks, and plant build containments.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate the supply of parts to meet build phase Material Required Dates (MRD).
- Body Issue Resolution: Champion analysis and resolution of body issues impacting Plant performance indicators, such as First Time Through (FTT).
- Interior and Exterior Issue Resolution: Coordinate analysis and resolution of interior & Exterior issues that deviate from vehicle specifications.
- Design Experience: Design experience in the automotive industry.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Production Intent Design: Experience in delivering Production intent design and Drawings.
- CAD Tools: Experience in creating designs using CAD tools such as CATIA V5/V6, 3D Experience.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written Communication Skills.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile Methodologies is an added advantage.
