Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Certinia PS Cloud (Finance & Accounting) Specialist to become a vital part of our ITS Team.

This role necessitates an extensive grasp of accounting methodologies, particularly in areas such as expense management, accounts payable, client invoicing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, and backlog analysis.

The successful candidate will adeptly implement these practices within the Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Oversight:

  • Administering and maintaining Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud applications.
  • Facilitating month-end financial closure processes.
  • Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless operations.
  • Implementing and managing application modifications and enhancements.
  • Applying and supporting accounting practices within Certinia applications, including project management, revenue recognition, time management, backlog management, invoicing, and WIP reporting.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

  • Acting as a conduit between the business and finance teams to identify and address application-related requirements.
  • Providing technical solutions tailored to meet business needs.
  • Driving the development and enhancement of applications related to finance and accounting.
  • Conducting training sessions for users on application functionalities and best practices.

Technical Support and Documentation:

  • Offering technical assistance to internal teams regarding Certinia applications.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for application processes and configurations.
  • Ensuring data integrity and security within the applications.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • At least 3 years' experience with Certinia Accounting (FinancialForce).
  • A solid foundation in accounting practices, particularly in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.
  • Experience with WIP and backlog reporting is preferred.
  • A proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions.
  • Experience in agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe, and familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
  • A degree or qualification in Computer Science, Accountancy, or a related field is expected.
