Job Title: Certinia Accounting Specialist

Oliver Wyman is a global leader in management consulting, with a presence in over 70 cities across 30 countries. We are seeking a highly skilled Certinia Accounting Specialist to join our OWG Technology Team in London.

This role demands a deep understanding of accounting practices, particularly in expense management and accounts payable processes, client invoicing and accounts receivable processes, revenue recognition, WIP reporting, and backlog reporting. The ideal candidate will effectively apply these practices within the Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting, administering, and maintaining Certinia PS Cloud and ERP Cloud applications
  • Supporting month-end closure financial processes
  • Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth operation
  • Implementing and overseeing application changes and enhancements
  • Applying and supporting accounting practices within the Certinia applications, including opportunity and project management, revenue recognition engine, time management, backlog management, invoicing, and currency matters
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Certinia Accounting (FinancialForce)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Solid background in accounting practices, especially in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition
  • Experience with WIP and backlog reporting is desired
  • Demonstrated capability to work with business stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions
  • Agile delivery experience using methodologies like Scrum or SAFe, and tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and Azure DevOps
  • Qualification or degree in Computer Science, Accountancy, or a related field is expected
