About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Proposition Development to lead our newly created team in providing compelling opportunities for donors to support initiatives across the National Trust.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building relationships across organisational boundaries and will be a sector-leading creative writer and storyteller.

With an in-depth knowledge and experience of fundraising with an understanding of high-value donor motivations and interests, the postholder will unlock the fundraising potential of high-value donors and pilot new ways of working in advance of larger scale change to fundraising teams.

The role will define creative new approaches and streamline processes to increase the speed with which insight-informed propositions can be developed and tested with high-value donors.

The selected candidate will have distinctive, successful experience working in the UK charity sector and will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Trust's mission and values.
