About the Role

We're seeking an experienced High Value Proposition Manager - Curation & Experiences to join our fundraising team on a 24-month contract. This role will play a critical part in the Fundraising Growth programme, an internal change programme aimed at strengthening and scaling fundraising capabilities across the National Trust.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Proposition Development and core fundraising teams to develop new Curation & Experiences propositions and proposals for high-value audiences. They will also provide coaching and training to colleagues within fundraising and beyond to help create a community of practice for proposition development across the National Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new Curation & Experiences propositions and proposals for high-value audiences
  • Work with the Head of Proposition Development and core fundraising teams to ensure propositions align with broader National Trust strategy
  • Provide coaching and training to colleagues within fundraising and beyond to build proposition development capabilities
  • Engage with project, programme, and finance teams to embed proposition development in ways of working

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret project budgets and work with project and finance teams to build packages of work that respond to donor motivations
  • Creative and innovative product/propositions development experience
  • Creative writing skills and ability to craft strong narratives
  • Ability to interpret complex content into engaging content and effective calls to action
  • Experience of building relationships across organisational boundaries and negotiating sensitively
