Position: Senior Engineer - HVAC
Rate: £39.89PH

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in calculations and schematics related to HVAC design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate clear expertise in HVAC systems, including calculations and schematic design.
  • Apply knowledge of psychometrics in practical scenarios.
  • Review contractor documentation, including equipment drawings and relevant policies.
  • Experience in naval shipbuilding and building services is preferred.
  • Engage in the development, maintenance, and modification of engineering processes in response to technical advancements and operational requirements.
  • Conduct technical analyses and investigations, evaluating and selecting technical options, and preparing comprehensive reports with recommendations.
  • Familiarity with HVAC system design and the ability to deliver solutions that align with customer needs throughout the shipbuilding cycle.
  • Analyze engineering challenges and propose effective solutions.

Required Knowledge:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering or a defense-related sector.
  • Understanding of shipbuilding operations and modern construction strategies.
  • Familiarity with processes and tools utilized in Marine Engineering.
  • Comprehension of how marine engineering integrates with other technologies and products.
  • Commercial awareness in the maritime industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the application of specialization within the maritime context.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Expertise in Marine Engineering Systems.
  • Experience in the design, construction, integration, support, and operation of naval vessels.
  • Awareness of Life Cycle Management reviews related to bids and programs.
  • Knowledge of external market trends and advancements in similar industries.
