Recovery Focus is a leading provider of mental health services, and we're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and empathetic individual to work with our service users, helping them to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community. As a Recovery Support Specialist, you'll work closely with our team to develop personalized support plans, empowering our service users to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to help service users maintain their tenancy and independence
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a range of support services, including peer support and supported housing
  • Provide guidance and support to service users to access work, leisure, or educational opportunities
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of recovery and well-being

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in mental health or a related field
  • Understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience
  • Caring and compassionate nature, with empathy and enthusiasm for helping others
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to participate in a weekly rota system and on-call duties
