We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced administrator to provide senior-level support to the Wakefield and District Safeguarding Adults Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and attending Board and sub-group meetings, providing administrative support, and acting as a first point of contact for the Business Manager and Independent Chair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Wakefield and District Safeguarding Adults Board, including organizing and attending meetings, taking minutes, and maintaining records.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the Business Manager and Independent Chair, dealing with complex and routine enquiries and requests for information.
  • Support the planning and coordination of Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs), including ensuring timely completion of referral forms and directing to the Board manager or Social Care Direct as necessary.
  • Lead project work as required, such as audits and support the chair, board manager, and statutory partners to review annually the WDSAB's strategic plan and produce an annual report.
