About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Line Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our growing Operational Support team. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide out-of-hours support as needed
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of virtualized environments, including VMware and Hyper-V
  • Excellent understanding of Windows Server environments, including OS build, AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO
  • Strong Linux system administration skills, including Ubuntu and CentOS
  • Good general knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies, including load balancing and firewalls
  • Good general knowledge of Microsoft stack technologies, including SharePoint, Skype for Business/Teams, MS SQL, MS System Centre, Office365, and MS Exchange
  • Good general knowledge of SAN storage technologies
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of complex incidents
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Experience in producing and updating technical documentation to a high standard
