Description

2nd Line Support Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, providing technical support and deployment services for our customers. As a 2nd Line Support Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues
  • Deploy and maintain infrastructure systems, including Linux, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve infrastructure performance
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical infrastructure issues

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, including OS build, AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPO
  • Excellent Linux system administration skills, including Ubuntu and CentOS
  • Good general knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies, including load balancing and firewalls
  • Good general knowledge of Microsoft stack technologies, including SharePoint, Skype for Business, MS SQL, and MS System Centre
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ownership of complex incidents
