Job Title: Children's Residential Home Deputy Manager - Leadership Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the management of our 4-bedroom home in Carlisle, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people aged 6-18.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of young people
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Participate in on-call rosters and provide emergency support as needed

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Residential Childcare, Families Practitioner Diploma, Children and Young People's Workforce, or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Experience working with young people with Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work
  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including sleep-ins and on-call shifts
