Job Summary:

Urban Pubs & Bars is seeking a talented and ambitious Assistant Manager to join our expanding group. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in all aspects of running the venue as if it were your own business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management, customer service, and financial management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Train, nurture, and develop staff to maintain high standards and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to create and implement business plans, including marketing, sales, and operational strategies.
  • Manage and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience as a manager in a similar industry.
  • Strong commercial understanding and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive guest experience.
  • Entrepreneurial flair and willingness to take calculated risks.
