Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Switchgear & Cable Management

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the South West & South Wales region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the switchgear and cable management industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field sales position selling a wide range of high-quality manufactured steel & plastic cable management products
  • 50% of your time will be spent selling to M&E contractors/installers, end-users, consultants, and specifiers
  • The remaining 50% will be dedicated to stimulating demand and pulling orders through our dedicated distribution partner CEF
  • Targeted to turnover circa £3m
  • You will be responsible for managing 3⁄4 CEF groups
  • You will gain commission through new business sales and building on existing accounts
Requirements:
  • Must have external sales experience (we may consider someone from a contractors or wholesalers with switchgear product experience)
  • Ideally sold switchgear, but open to other related electrical products backgrounds
  • Must be driven and self-motivated
  • Personable, team player, people person, driven, and enthusiastic
