La posición es un puesto a tiempo completo de 12 meses (prorrogable a 24 meses) que ofrecerá formación en todos los aspectos de la terapia CAR T y el manejo de linfomas en entornos ambulatorios y hospitalarios. Esta es una oportunidad para unirse a un centro de referencia nacional en investigación e innovación clínica en hemato-oncología. Se proporcionará supervisión clínica y educativa por parte de Consultores del equipo de linfomas como parte de un equipo multidisciplinario más amplio, y el puesto incluye oportunidades para participar en investigaciones clínicas donde el servicio de linfomas está particularmente activo.

Este rol ofrece oportunidades para participar en la enseñanza de pregrado y posgrado, supervisión educativa, así como en roles de investigación y liderazgo dentro de la especialidad. Actualmente, no hay un compromiso formal de 'guardia', pero existen oportunidades para unirse a la rotación de guardia durante la duración del puesto.

Responsabilidades principales del puesto

El Fellow en CAR-T será un miembro senior no consultor del equipo de linfomas y se beneficiará de una formación extensa y enfocada en CAR-T en el contexto de malignidades linfoides. Se espera que el candidato seleccionado colabore con los equipos médicos y no médicos relacionados con la entrega de CAR-T, incluyendo UCI, neurología, cuidados paliativos, aféresis, laboratorio de células madre, farmacia y otros. Un enfoque clave del puesto será contribuir a la entrega y supervisión de CAR-T en un entorno ambulatorio.

Las responsabilidades generales incluirán:

  • Contribución al servicio de referencia terciaria para pacientes con malignidades linfoides, incluyendo, pero no limitado a, CAR-T, proporcionando revisiones regulares de pacientes con estrecha colaboración con el personal consultor y de enfermería especializada.
  • Asistencia a las reuniones multidisciplinarias de linfomas/CAR-T y al panel nacional de CAR-T.
  • Responsabilidades dedicadas en clínicas ambulatorias.
  • Responsabilidades delegadas para pacientes que participan en ensayos clínicos de linfomas/CAR-T.
  • Enseñanza a médicos en formación y estudiantes de medicina.
  • Participación en reuniones educativas departamentales, investigación y auditoría.
