Orthopaedic Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Fellow to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Lower Limb Arthroplasty Specialist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our orthopaedic services.
Key Responsibilities- Work alongside our experienced consultants to provide elective clinics and theatre services for patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty.
- Develop and maintain your skills in hip and knee surgery, including complex revision procedures.
- Contribute to the development of our orthopaedic services, including the implementation of new procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Previous registrar-level experience in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery.
- CCT/CESR in Trauma and Orthopaedics (or expected to achieve by start date).
- Logbook evidence of experience in hip and knee arthroplasty, including primary arthroplasty with trainer scrubbed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work methodically with positive outcomes.
- Experience of audit/QI projects relevant to arthroplasty.
- Exceptional preparation, scheduling, and administration skills for unified patient management.
