Clinical Orthopaedic Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Orthopaedic Fellow to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Clinical Orthopaedic Fellow, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Trauma and Orthopaedics service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage emergency referrals for injured patients from the Emergency Department, working under the direction of consultants.
- Conduct routine ward responsibilities, including transfer and discharge summaries and operating theatre duties.
- Support orthopaedic fracture clinics and provide teaching to medical students.
- Participate in research and audit projects, and contribute to the development of our clinical conference, lecture, and seminar programs.
- MB BS (or equivalent) degree.
- Full GMC registration.
- Full MRCS (UK) certification.
- NHS UK experience at ST3+ level.
- Previous experience in Trauma & Orthopaedics surgery.
- Completed basic surgical training.
- ATLS and APLS certifications.
- Leadership or management experience.
- Research experience, including presentations or publications.
