Job Summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Fellow to join our team. As a Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced surgeons and gain valuable experience in complex hip and knee surgery.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our consultants, Mr. Ben Bloch and Mr. Andrew Manktelow, to develop their skills in hip and knee arthroplasty. You will attend elective clinics and theatres, and participate in the care of patients undergoing complex hip and knee surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend elective clinics and theatres with our consultants
  • Participate in the care of patients undergoing complex hip and knee surgery
  • Develop skills in hip and knee arthroplasty under the guidance of our consultants
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous registrar-level experience in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery
  • CCT/CESR in Trauma and Orthopaedics (or expected to achieve by start date)
  • Logbook evidence of experience in hip and knee arthroplasty
