This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a talented Executive Chef to establish a reputation within the food service sector and contribute to elevating the standards of workplace hospitality.

Role Responsibilities

  • Enjoy a balanced work-life dynamic with a 5-day work week, with the kitchen closing by 7 PM.
  • Oversee a kitchen in a bustling, seasonal café and restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a diligent, innovative leader who sets an example. Proven experience as a head chef or an ambitious sous chef ready to advance is preferred.
  • Motivate, inspire, and collaborate with your team to consistently achieve outstanding standards.
  • Foster positive, credible relationships and effective communication with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Continuously develop your team through mentoring, training, recognition, and empowerment.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence within your team, striving for brilliance through exceptional service, high food standards, and creativity.
  • Meet essential business KPIs, including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial Performance, and Governance.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef or in a comparable role
  • A strong passion for food and crafting memorable experiences
  • Proven ability to manage, train, and support a team effectively
  • Financially savvy, with strong analytical skills to create and maintain budgets
  • Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, creative environment while thriving under pressure
