Main Responsibilities:Chef:
- Ensure all stocks are kept under optimal conditions.
- Prepare mise-en-place freshly and on time.
- Prepare dishes according to recipe and quantity.
- Present dishes correctly garnished, portioned, and sized.
- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment.
- Train and guide junior cooks and trainees.
- Communicate anticipated shortages to the sous chef or head chef.
- Deputise for the sous chef in their absence.
- Attend training courses and seminars as required.
- Study management subjects for future advancement.
Housekeeper:
- Maintain and clean public areas, including the hotel, bar, and restaurants.
- Clean rooms to a high standard and report any issues.
- Contribute to achieving high levels of guest satisfaction.
Essential Criteria:
- Willingness and desire to learn.
- NVQs or equivalent advantageous.
