Head Chef Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at The Swan Inn. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and ensuring that we deliver exceptional food quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to achieve high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to using fresh, quality ingredients.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering, stock control, and waste management.
  • Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed and maintained.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and achieving high standards of food quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and efficient demeanor.
  • Level 3 food safety certificate and HACCP experience.
