Head Chef Opportunity at The Inn Collection Group

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at The Swan Inn, a historic pub in the heart of Grasmere village in the Lake District.

The Inn Collection Group is a multi-award-winning pubs with rooms company that prides itself on delivering exceptional hospitality. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team to produce high-quality food that exceeds our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the kitchen team to achieve consistent food standards and quality across all areas.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including ordering, stock control, and menu development.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to achieve budgeted costs for food, wastage, and wages.
  • Train and develop the kitchen team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional food.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-maintained, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team to achieve high standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Level 3 food safety certificate and HACCP experience.
