About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef and Housekeeper to join our team at DDH Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our culinary and hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Chef: Ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions, and all mise-en-place is freshly prepared and on time.
- Chef: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the correct recipe and quantity, and presented on the prescribed serving dish in the prescribed manner.
- Chef: Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment, and provide guidance and training to junior cooks and trainees.
- Chef: Communicate anticipated shortages to the sous chef or head chef, and deputize in their absence as required.
- Chef: Attend training courses and seminars as needed, and strive to study management subjects for future advancement.
- Housekeeper: Maintain and clean all public areas, including the hotel, bar, and restaurants, to a high standard.
- Housekeeper: Ensure all rooms are cleaned to a high standard, and any issues are forwarded to the relevant department.
- Housekeeper: Contribute to achieving the highest levels of guest satisfaction in all areas with the rest of the team.
- Must have the willingness and desire to learn.
- NVQs or equivalent would be advantageous.
