Senior Energy Consultant

We are partnering with a leading energy consultancy to find a Senior Energy Consultant to join their team in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy and water management, with experience in analysing and interpreting complex data and communicating findings in report format.

The role will involve managing a portfolio of contracts, delivering reports, site surveys, client communication, presentations, feasibility studies, and complex calculations. The successful candidate will also provide technical support during sales meetings and manage the delivery of projects to achieve the desired deliverables in the required timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of contracts, achieving contracted deliverables, by the required timescales and to the required quality.
  • Provide technical support during sales meetings to support revenue growth.
  • Manage the delivery of projects, either individually or as part of a team, to achieve the desired deliverables in the required timeframe.
  • Provide training to peers, sharing skills and knowledge to support the development of the team.

Requirements:

  • Engineering or relevant technical degree essential.
  • ESOS Lead Assessor desirable.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with experience in analysing and interpreting large amounts of complex data.
  • Experience in energy and water management, from identification of utility savings to delivery of successful reduction programmes.
  • A working knowledge of legislation and services related to energy, for example, energy management, energy audits, feasibility studies, CCA, CCL, SECR, UK ETS, CDP, TCFD, and ESOS.
  • Excellent project management skills to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Experience working in a business-to-business consultancy, providing support, advice, and delivery to a very high standard.
