Energy Consultant

We are a leading economic consulting firm, and we are looking for a talented Senior Energy Consultant to join our EMEA Energy team. Our team is spread across several European offices and has over 25 team members specializing in the economics of the energy sector.
As a Senior Energy Consultant, you will work on both quantitative modeling and regulatory issues through projects all over Europe. Your responsibilities will include:
- Economic analysis of energy regulation and markets, and of their impacts on our clients
- Quantitative analysis in Excel using our energy-specific models and energy system modeling platforms
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the project and client contact on all matters
- Active participation in client meetings and conference calls
- Monitoring project progress
- Extensive mentoring and supervising of junior staff
We are looking for a candidate with 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in the energy sector, particularly in consulting. You should have a Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or Statistics, and fluency in French and English languages. Other European languages are desirable. You should also have advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills, and working knowledge of statistical packages or programming languages.
